Vipers take USSSA Machine Pitch Championship

The Northwest Vipers 8 and under baseball team took first place at the 2010 USSSA “A” Machine Pitch Missouri State Championship in Oak Grove, MO on June 20th. The boys were 4-0 for the weekend and brought home the first place trophy. Pictured front row: Trent Shell, Blake Antle, Jaxon Pettlon, Justin Firavich, Trey Houchin. Middle Row: Koby Stoll, Carson Pistole, Ben Clements, Jayden Hayes, Ben Walker, Blake Gordon, Nate Jermain.Last Row: Coaches: Bill Walker, Coby Hayes, David Firavich, Matt Houchin. Blake Gordon, a 3rd grade student at Lathrop and son of Coach Mark Gordon of LHS, and Blake Antle, a second grade student at East Buchanan, son of Scott Antle EBHS Principal, play on the team.
