Lathrop LBSA joined the 92 Highway league this season. Teams included young atheletes from Lathrop, Plattsburg, Kearney, Smithville and Excelsior Springs. One of the 10 and under Lady Mules softball teams coached by Brian Huitt, Marty Schnatz and Brian Jones had an outstanding season posting a 16-0 undefeated record and winning the 92 Highway league championship. These young ladies scored an amazing 175 runs while holding their opponents to only 32. This team was very well rounded with strong bats, consistent pitching and solid fielding.
