The Lathrop Quilting SEW & SEWS held their monthly meeting on July 20th 2010 at the Lathrop Baptist Church. After acceptance of the minutes and treasury report the 7 members who went on the July Shop Hop told of the enjoyable time they spent going from one fabric store to another in Wheeling, Brookfield, Salisbury, Brunswick, Bosworth and back to Marilyn’s house, all in 12 hours.
Plans for the Quilt Show were finalized with sign-ups for the needed workers and quilts to be displayed. The Quilt Show will be on Saturday, July 31st from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Lathrop Community Building. All quilts to be shown should be delivered on Thursday, the 29th from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., actual set-up will be on Friday starting at 9 a.m., ready for the show on Saturday.
