The Lathrop Girls 8 & Under machine pitch team placed 2nd in the Highway 92 League Tournament, which was held on July 9-13 in Kearney. During the regular season, Lathrop finished with a record of 7-3 and finished in 2nd place in the team standings. Their overall record was 10-5, with 3 of the losses coming from the undefeated champions from Smithville. The girls were coached by Corey Crawford and Mike Dickerson.
