Before you begin to use RURALREPORTER.COM, here is some helpful information that will make it easier to utilize this website to the maximum.
The News Breaker
With the News Breaker section of the website, you stay ahead of the curve with real-time news, notices, and announcements. Now you won't have to wait until Thursday for the best of local government, sports, and headline news. Along with the News Breaker section, each week's stories will be posted.
Archives & Photos
This
website is packed with archives and photos that you can find through
our search engines. The archives section features over 11,000 strories
that have been featured in the print edition of the Rural Reporter
over the past few years. Type key words into the search engine to find
the stroy that you want. You can find photos one of two ways. Use the
search engine to find the photos you want, or file through photo albums
to find the picture you want. All photos can be copied, pasted, and printed.
Web Polls
Voice
your opinions with our local web polls (located on the right side of
the screen). All votes are cast anonymous and may be printed in the Rural Reporter newspaper.
Calendar
The calendar located on the right side of your window is interactive. Place your cursor over a specific date to get a complete list of events for that day. When you select an event, a screen will pop up with the details of the event. If you would like to place an event on the community calendar, feel free to contact us.
